#18 (Week 8) Zoho

It's so so wonderful. I like many of its features like sharing, publishing, exporting, importing etc. I amazed with the feature that I can export my word document in PDF format or in whatever format I want to. Also, the accessibility of the document is so cool.

Learning to learn

A recent report from the 2020 Trust (2020trust.org.nz) highlights the fact that New Zealand's schools have come a long way in making technology available to young people in school environments. While having "enough" technology will always be a difficult ideal to define; on a global scale New Zealand is doing very well.1

I have read all the five perspectives and it is all good. Although, I am impressed with Michael Stephens perspective and Chip Nigles perspective and it is interesting to look forward Libraries with Web 2.0.

#13 (Week 5) pbwiki

I have explored into pbwiki and was playing around in favourite receipes and edited it and also I explored in favourite numbers, favourite blogs, favourite tasks, favourite holiday destinations etc. Perhaps, I realised the exercise is to add our blog URL on favourite blogs and I have done it finally. Good technology, but no ownership on any stuff you posted.

#12 (Week 5) Library Wiki

It took long time to read and explore the wiki lessons. I think it can be used in many ways effectively. Items which is on big demand can be digitized on wiki. Wiki can be used to accept participation forms from the public on attending library programmes and receive book recommendations. Once the minimum number of attendees are enrolled, confirmation sent immediately to all the participants. Random subject can be published to invite public opinion about what programmes can be delivered through library and we can arrange accordingly. Apparently, library programmes can be promoted effectively.

After 5 years of non-stop, round the clock construction, Akshardham Temple in New Delhi was inaugurated in November 2005. It's awesome.
